Tork You: Waste Management

We’re starting a new thing here at Tor’s Take where we rant about something that’s bothering us. So today’s (and the first ever) Tork You! goes to Waste Management.

Waste Management Truck

My daughter was fading her way towards a nap when a Waste Management truck came in and started picking up our complex’s recycling. Oh, clinking of glass, how you instantly wake up a baby. Thanks for taking away 30 minutes of my daily free time. I appreciate it.

Some people would say it’s irrational to get mad because how would you know that I was putting down a baby. Well, to those people, I say that some of the best ideas have come from irrational thoughts. Look at half of the programming you enjoy on basic cable. So shut up and let me finish lest I make you the focus of Tork You #2!

Is it too much to ask Waste Management to assume that I’m always putting a baby down for a nap? Is it too much to ask that they take each individual bottle and can, wrap it in paper like they’re working the fine china section at Macy’s, and gently place it in the back of the truck? The answer is no. It’s not too much to ask.

Tork you, Waste Management!
